Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), a Navratna PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, as part of its CSR initiative, is supporting Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) for implementation of Smart Gram Initiative of Rashtrapati Bhawan through following projects:
Providing Sustainable Energy System for Smart Gram Initiative of Rashtrapati Bhawan in forty five villages of Haryana.
A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between REC and SCGJ was signed on 14th of September, 2017 to implement the project. The total support for the project is of Rs. 3.54 Crores.
Objectives of the project:To develop Swachh, Swasth and Sasakt gram models as part of SMARTGRAM initiative.
Scope of Work:
The implementation of the project has started and baseline study has been completed. The project is spread in 45 villages of Haryana in five clusters namely Alipur Cluster, Daulha Cluster, Harchandpur Cluster, Tajnagar Cluster and RojkaMeo Cluster.
Installation of 231 KWp solar power panel/solar power micro grid in six villages Alipur, Daulha, Harchandpur, Tajnagar, Rojka Meo and Udyog Kunj of Haryana.
Rural Electrification Corporation Limited(REC), as part of its CSR initiative approved Rs. 2.04 Crores on 06.06.2017 to Skill Council for Green Jobs(SCGJ) for implementation of 30 Solar Photovoltaic power plants under Smart Gram Initiative of Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Scope of Work:
Installation of Solar Roof Top with the total capacity of 231 KWp in 6 villages, namely Alipur, Daulha, Harchandpur, Tajnagar, Rojka Meo and Udyog Kunj of Haryana under SMARTGRAM project.
All the locations in the villages have been surveyed for load and configuration of the project. 5 Solar PV power plants have been installed in Udyog Kunj. Installations will now be taken up in Taj Nagar.
